In response to newsweeks, "Why There Wont Be a Revolution"

in response to the february 16, 2009 newsweek magazine (whose front page headline is WE ARE ALL SOCIALISTS NOW) article, "why there wont be a revolution"), i must say that there WILL be a revolution, it just has not happened yet. this absence is due to the following:

1) americans have no idea what a revolution is, most likely due to the total neglect of education. citizens have no context of their place in time, and do not therefore consider revolution as a possibility.

2) americans are all pussies, most likely because there has not been a war fought on their homeland since they wiped out the natives. oh, except for 9/11, and i suppose pearl harbor, but that was like 3000 and 2500 deaths respectively. americans are frightened of violence and feel as if death will be contained to the the members of the armed forces who "choose" to fight- cause we all know freedom isnt free, right?

3) what would americans revolt against, and what could be better? america is the only land of true freedom, right? the place where one comes to flourish because of opportunity! if you dont like it, geeeeeet out! give me a break.

4) everybody in america hates and fears everyone else, so no one is going to band together and decide someone is worth revolting against. democracy is the most "enlightened" form of government, isn't it?? how are you going to revolt against the government, the manifestation of diversity, and populist opinion. ESPECIALLY WHEN OBAMA IS PRESIDENT. if you revolt against him, you are obviously against the people. arent you? ha ha

5) the only thing you could possibly revolt against is policies. that means you revolt against words. could anything be more ludicrous? how do i fight words? with a gun?

6) in a place as christianized as america, and under such a religious spell, the only one who is going to start a revolution is jesus. we're all just waiting for the messiah, arent we. whats a plebian to do?

so there you go. people dont know what a revolution is, they are too wimpy to have a revolution (even if they knew what one was), we already live an a utopia, and its already governed by the chosen leader of the freeworld. plus, the only one who's ever going to do anything about it anyway is coming down from the sky to welcome us into heaven on earth.

i need a job. i need money. i need food and a place to live. i want to do whatever i want.

the revolution is coming motherfuckers. are you ready for it? who can imagine something else?

I DONT HAVE TO LIVE WITHIN ANYONE ELSES SYSTEM OF WORDS BUT MY OWN.

FUCK YOUR INSTITUTIONS!!!

PRAY FOR US

wow, is everything going to hell?

just remember that all your problems are abstract concepts and dont really exist, save for the fact that they have been converted into words (and "money"), ideas in your mind that are translated into language. your solutions lie in a response to those abstractions. words to destroy your problems.

they are coming. enjoy your day. enjoy the beauty the world has to offer. the world will be saved by its beauty. the world will be saved by the hatred you feel for its injustices. the world will be saved by your action, and acceptance, and love for the best parts of it.

what you must decide is what is allowed to stay, and what is necessary to disintegrate. what you must come to terms with is WHAT IS TRUE FREEDOM, AND WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO TRULY ACCEPT AND EMBRACE WHAT TRUE FREEDOM EXISTS AS.

do you think you can handle freedom? do you think you can handle others having true freedom? do you think you can afford to live with anything less than what freedom exists as, and more importantly, do you think you can even tell what true freedom would look and feel and seem like if it were provided for you?

are you ready for it yet? are you finally ready to know the epitome of what you have been yearning for? are you as strong as you need to be to receive it yet? will you break under its pressure?

i am waiting for you... come to me, please. i love you all so much. DO YOU BELIEVE ME? i hope you do.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i am going to court today. i will be at the mercy of the world, alone, embracing the establishment of judgement. the institutionalized authority will decide if i am "good" or "bad" today, and i will be affected with consequences. i cannot sleep. i can only prepare myself for the next moments in this life, and perhaps ready myself with possible reactions.

yet there is something that compels me to walk along the journey that has shown itself to me.

I HAVE FAITH IN THE SYNCHRONICITY OF THE UNIVERSE. I HAVE FAITH THAT I AM WHERE I AM, BECAUSE THERE COULD BE NO OTHER PLACE FOR ME TO BE

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU HEARD THE WORDS, "EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON." (?)

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU HEARD THE WORDS, "TOMORROW IS NEVER PROMISED." (?)

how many times have you wondered why and how you have the perspective you do in this moment, reading these words, watching this image? you are conscious now. you are part of a cosmology now. you are part of a chaotic system that makes sense out of randomness. you are the free will of fate. you are the creation. i love you. I LOVE YOU.

i cannot be sorry for being entrapped by oppression. allurement has filled me with my character. either i will be destroyed, or i will conquer.

love, faith, disbelief, oppression, horror, wonder, control, revelation, destruction, reflection, heartbreak.

this is the cycle which has been made known to you. what is the alternative? can you guess?
what is the difference between philosophy and religion? with morality and ethics? with principles and rules? with revolution and law?

you must learn. you must understand. without this knowledge, i will die. i cannot exist here without empathy. i will not. i choose to live. and therefore, if you cannot accept me, you will die. this is my promise to you. so accept me. and love me. and pray for me. pray for yourselves. pray for us. PRAY FOR US.

P.S. I once wrote a paper that explained the significance of all experience. It was short, sweet, and mostly lost on the general public. Yet there were one or two persons who read its majestically constructed sentences and exclaimed, “By George! Here is the beauty I have spent my entire life searching for!” In that moment the great Being awoke and tried to recall the dream it had been caught in for the last 14 billion years. But the memory faded with the colors of the vision, and the Being began to cry. Its tears rolled down its cheeks, and filled a thousand containers. Somewhere, high above the clouds, up, even over the stars, the Being rocked itself back to sleep, promising it would never again lose sight of that which might never come again.
